A former professional baseball player with over a decade of experience competing at the highest levels, Edwin brings elite athletic insight and a science-driven approach to performance coaching. With more than 17 years of coaching experience and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) credential, he specializes in developing athletes to reach their peak potential — physically, mentally, and functionally.
Edwin started his 10 year professional baseball career after attending the University of New Mexico. He has played with the Kansas City Royals and Los Angeles Dodgers while also playing internationally in Canada and Australia.
In 2014, while in spring training with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Edwin suffered from a mysterious autoimmune disease that made him unable to walk for over 5 months. Doctors and specialists could not pinpoint the exact cause or even diagnosis.
Edwin was determined to walk again and through hard work and perseverance, he beat all odds and was able to once again walk and play professional baseball for 5 more years.
Edwin is also a Certified Coach through the Professional Pickleball Registry.

Throughout his career, Edwin has trained athletes from youth to professional levels, focusing on strength, speed, mobility, and recovery optimization. He blends real-world professional athletic experience with evidence-based performance methods to create programs that enhance movement efficiency, prevent injury, and maximize long-term health.
